2D Animator

Job Title: 2D AnimatorJob Summary

We are looking for a creative and talented 2D Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations, illustrations, and visual elements for videos, games, applications, and marketing content. You should have a strong artistic sense, attention to detail, and proficiency in animation software.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging 2D animations, character movements, and motion graphics.
• Develop storyboards, character designs, and animation concepts.
• Work closely with the creative team, designers, and video editors to bring ideas to life.
• Animate characters, objects, and environments based on project requirements.
• Ensure animations follow the desired style, timing, and pacing.
• Edit and refine animations based on feedback.
• Collaborate in the entire production process—from concept to final output.
• Maintain consistency in art style and quality across projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience as a 2D Animator or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch, anticipation, etc.).
• Ability to create clean and appealing character designs and storyboards.
• Good drawing skills and a strong artistic portfolio.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in motion graphics and video editing.
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with 2D game animation and sprite sheet creation.
• Experience using Wacom tablets or other digital drawing tools.
