2D Animator / Motion Graphics Designer

We’re looking for a 2D Animator / Motion Graphics who can transform ideas into compelling visual narratives across platforms.

This is a full-time, studio-based role in our Gurgaon office, working alongside designers, strategists, and creative teams on powerful production systems.

Role Overview:

You will translate design ideas, layouts, and brand systems into refined 2D motion graphics and animated visual content. The focus of this role is motion design - animating typography, shapes, illustrations, UI elements, and brand assets to create engaging digital experiences.

From animated explainers and social media motion pieces to motion-driven website visuals, you will craft clean, design-led animations that enhance storytelling across platforms.

This role blends strong animation fundamentals, motion design thinking, and modern AI-assisted workflows — with editing used as a supporting skill rather than the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D motion graphics and animations for explainers, digital campaigns, brand storytelling, and social content
• Animate typography, illustrations, UI elements, and brand assets to bring design systems to life
• Develop motion assets using both templates and original animation from scratch
• Translate static layouts and visual concepts into clean, design-led motion outputs
• Prepare motion deliverables across multiple formats, aspect ratios, and platform requirements
• Support video edits where required, primarily to integrate motion graphics into final outputs
• Use AI-assisted workflows and prompt-based tools to enhance motion production, subtitles, and visual assets
• Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and content teams throughout the creative process

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in 2D motion graphics, animation, or motion design (agency or studio preferred)
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion graphics and animation work
• Good understanding of motion principles, typography, pacing, and visual composition

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a creative agency or design-led environment
• Exposure to AI tools for motion, subtitles, or visual generation workflows
• Basic understanding of motion assets for web and digital platforms

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects (primary tool)
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for basic editing and assembly
• Working familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator for preparing motion assets
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus — not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail, timing, animation flow, and design consistency
