We are now looking for a 2D Artist to join our team and help us elevate both our interactive AR experiences and our work on realistic digital recreations of cultural heritage and historical symbols . 

Job Description 💼

As a 2D Artist , you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and realistic 2D assets that support both AR projects and digital recreations of cultural heritage and historical symbols . You will extract and adapt textures from reference images , perform realistic image alterations , and develop UI/UX elements to enhance interactive experiences. 

A crucial part of your role will be collaborating closely with 3D artists and texture teams , ensuring all assets are production-ready and integrated seamlessly into AR/VR pipelines . Your work will combine technical precision with artistic creativity , helping us deliver immersive and lifelike digital experiences. 

Responsibilities 🛠

• Develop high-quality textures and visual elements that meet artistic and technical requirements 
• Ensure 2D assets integrate seamlessly with 3D scenes and interactive projects 
• Create and refine assets using Adobe tools
• Preparing 2D concepts for historical elements and figures. 
• Prepare UI assets for interactive and AR projects, ensuring usability and visual appeal 
• Collaborate closely with 3D artists, developers, animators, and designers to maintain production quality 
• Apply feedback iteratively to improve visual fidelity and consistency
• Keep up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and software developments
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes and workflows when needed 

Experience & Skills 💫

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Art, Design, Illustration, or similar) 
• Strong proficiency in Adobe tools : Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects… 
• Experience integrating 2D assets into Unreal Engine and Unity is a strong plus
• Ability to extract and adapt textures and visual elements from reference photos
• Experience creating UI assets and understanding of UI/UX principles
• Strong artistic sense, attention to detail, and ability to produce both realistic and stylized visuals
• Commitment to feedback-driven collaboration and transparency
• Work according to project schedules, meet deadlines, and implement revisions quickly. 
• Effective communication and teamwork skills 
• Proactive, organized, and continuously seeking to improve workflow and skill set
