2D Designer

2D Designer – Commercial Modular Furniture

Responsibilities:

• Create 2D drawings for commercial modular furniture like office workstations, partitions, meeting tables, storage units, display racks, and reception counters.
• Convert client requirements, site measurements, and layouts into accurate 2D plans.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for production: elevations, sections, joinery details, and hardware specifications.
• Develop workstation layouts, seating plans, and workstation electrical/data routing details.
• Prepare cutting lists, material details, and panel schedules.
• Coordinate with the design head, project team, and production team for approval and clarity.
• Modify drawings based on client feedback or site changes.
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards and technical accuracy.
• Share drawings with procurement and production teams for manufacturing and installation.
• Maintain drawing files and deliver work within deadlines.

Skills Required:

• Strong AutoCAD 2D drafting skills.
• Good understanding of commercial furniture systems, modular partitions, and workstation standards.
• Knowledge of materials like MDF, particle board, laminates, metal frames, glass, etc.
• Understanding of carpentry and joinery details used in commercial furniture.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or relevant field.
• Experience in commercial modular furniture industry preferred.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
