2D Drafter

Elegant Interior Design is seeking a skilled 2D Drafter to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings related to marine and houseboat projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for marine and houseboat projects (steel structure, layouts, details).
• Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings as required.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to reflect design updates.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and timelines.
• Revise and update drawings based on site feedback and technical comments.
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a 2D Drafter (marine/shipbuilding experience is a strong advantage).
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction details.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and good coordination skills.
• Experience in shipbuilding or marine projects is preferred.
