About the Company
Vertex Events LLP is a growing event management company specializing in exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, and brand activations. We are looking for a talented 2D Graphic Designer who can bring creative ideas to life through impactful visual communication and event-specific designs.
Role Overview
The 2D Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality design assets for event branding, marketing materials, and digital communication. The role requires a strong understanding of visual aesthetics, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event-Based Graphic Design
- Create event branding collaterals such as:
- Backdrops, stage designs, standees, signage, flex banners
- Directional boards, product display branding
- Stall/exhibition panel layouts
- Convert client briefs into visually appealing designs aligned with event themes.
2. Marketing & Digital Creatives
- Design social media posts, reels elements, ads, banners, and campaign creatives.
- Create brochures, flyers, pamphlets, corporate presentations, and e-invites.
- Assist in designing pitch decks, proposal layouts, and visual mockups.
3. Artwork & Production Coordination
- Prepare print-ready files, ensuring correct bleed, sizing, resolution, and color formats.
- Coordinate with vendors and printing teams for accurate production output.
- Adapt artworks for various formats as per event requirements.
4. Motion Graphics (Basic/Intermediate)
- Create simple animations and motion graphics for LED screens and event videos using After Effects.
- Design animated invites or short visual elements for event promotions.
5. Collaboration & Task Management
- Work closely with clients, client servicing team, and production team to understand briefs.
- Deliver projects within timelines, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously and maintain organized file structures.
Required Skills
Software Expertise
- Adobe Photoshop – artwork design, image editing, manipulation
- CorelDRAW – event branding layouts, print artworks
- Adobe Illustrator – vector illustration, logo creation, icon design
- Adobe After Effects – basic animations, motion graphics
Creative Skills
- Strong sense of layout, typography, color theory, and visual composition
- Ability to conceptualize designs based on event themes
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in print and digital outputs
- Ability to visualize design applications in an event environment
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience (event industry experience highly preferred)
