About the Role

We’re seeking a highly creative and experienced Storyboard Artist to join our team and bring scripts and concepts to life through compelling visual storytelling. You’ll be responsible for crafting dynamic storyboards that capture the essence of our narratives, with a strong emphasis on character design and rig-ability for animation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate scripts and verbal descriptions into engaging storyboards
• Collaborate with writers, directors, and animators to visualize scenes
• Design characters with rigging in mind for animation workflows
• Create sequential panels that reflect pacing, emotion, and camera movement
• Revise storyboards based on feedback and evolving creative direction
• Contribute to animatics and pre-visualization when needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven industry experience as a storyboard artist (minimum 2–3 years)
• Strong drawing and illustration skills (characters, environments, action)
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and cinematography
• Experience designing rig-able characters for animation
• Proficiency in storyboard software (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills

• Graphic design experience (branding, layout, typography)
• Familiarity with animation pipelines and 2D rigging tools.
• Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing software (After Effects, Premiere)

Portfolio Required

Please include a portfolio showcasing:

• Storyboard samples from past projects
• Character designs (preferably rig-ready)
• Any relevant graphic design work
