Job Description: 2D/3D Animator

Year of experience: 2 – 4 years

Location: IIT Madras, Chennai

About the role:

We are looking for a talented and creative 2D/3D Animator to join our team. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for developing visually compelling animations, motion

graphics, and character designs across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

 Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.

 Develop storyboards, animations, and concepts to support project requirements.

 Design and animate characters, objects, and environments with strong attention to

detail.

 Collaborate with designers and video editors to deliver visually compelling outputs.

 Use software tools such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop,

Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

 Ensure all animations meet technical requirements and project timelines.

 Stay updated on the latest animation trends, techniques, and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field.

 Proven experience as a 2D/3D Animator or Motion Graphics Designer.

 Proficiency in industry-standard animation and design software.

 Strong sense of timing, motion, and visual storytelling.

 Ability to work independently as well as part of a creative team.

 Attention to detail with a passion for innovation and creativity.

Preferred:

 Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of animation styles and techniques.

 Familiarity with motion capture techniques and integration.

 Understanding of lighting, rendering, and texturing for realistic output.

 Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary creative teams.
