About The Role
We are looking for a versatile and creative
2D/3D Generalist Artist
to join our growing indie game development team. As a generalist, you'll be involved in a wide variety of art-related tasks depending on the project needs â from creating concept art to modeling, texturing, animating, and more.
This is a hands-on, on-site role best suited for someone who enjoys variety, has a strong portfolio, and is ready to jump into different art styles and tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality 2D and 3D assets including characters, environments, props, and effects.
Work on concept art, mood boards, and visual development.
Model, texture, rig, and animate characters or assets as required.
Collaborate closely with the design and development team to bring ideas to life.
Adapt to various tasks and deadlines based on evolving project needs.
Requirements
Strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D work.
Proficiency in tools such as Creative Suite, Blender/Maya/3ds Max, Substance Painter (or equivalents).
Understanding of the game art pipeline.
Flexibility to switch between different tasks and styles.
Good communication and time management skills.
Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore.
Nice to Have
Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
Basic knowledge of game design principles.
Prior indie game or startup experience.
