2nd and 3rd shift Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Friends for Life Residential Care is seeking full time and part time employees to work as Direct Support Professionals with individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The hours vary due to location and we will work with your availability. We are just looking to hire for 2nd and 3rd shifts at this time.

All direct support professional positions require:

• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and good driving record, less than 6 points (we can accept non-drivers)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required (or a promise to get a GED within a specific time)
• Must complete background check BCII and also an FBI check if you haven't lived in Ohio for 5 years
• Experience in the DD field is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds consistently (at certain locations)
• Must be able to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Major Duties and Responsibilities include: Assisting clients with personal care including but not limited to: bathing, grooming and personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, and feeding. Help the clients with meal planning, cleaning, grocery shopping, and various other duties and responsibilities as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
