2nd Engineer

Looking for 2nd Engineer on DP3 Accommodation / Construction barge in Qatar.

Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off.

Requirements:

• Experience working on DP3 Accommodation / Construction vessel with MAN engines.
• Extensive experience as 2nd Engineer on DP vessels.

Responsibilities:

• Support Engineering department and directly report to Chief Engineer.
• Planned and routine maintenance of the mechanical installations onboard the ship.
• Bunkering the vessel when on duty.
• To carry out watch keeping duties.
• Perform area authority duties with regard to the Permit to Work / Isolation procedures.
• Supervise and train junior engineers onboard.
• Allocate maintenance tasks and monitor progress.
• Maintain and test safety equipment.
• Acts as a member of the emergency team as dictated by the Muster List.
• Promote Health and Safety onboard.
• Ensure risk assessments are carried out.
• Evaluate processes and activities for the presence of hazards.

Certification:

• DP Maintenance certificate.
• High voltage as per STCW regulation.
• BOSIET / FOET (OPITO Approved).
• H2S (OPITO Approved).
