An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a hybrid Learning Support/Autistic Support classroom at an elementary school in Lancaster, PA. This contract position runs from December 1, 2025, through June 2, 2026, providing educational support to a K-12 caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction and support tailored to students with learning and autistic support needs in a hybrid classroom setting
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning experiences
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student development and report to parents and administration as required

Qualifications And Experience

  • Must hold full Pennsylvania Special Education licensure (Instructional I or II). Candidates must possess this certification prior to the job start date; emergency or out-of-state certificates are not accepted.
  • Experience teaching special education students across multiple grade levels
  • Strong understanding of learning support and autistic support instructional strategies
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively within a classroom environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position located at an elementary school in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
  • Contract duration: December 1, 2025 through June 2, 2026

Compensation And Benefits

  • Hourly pay range of $35 to $53
