An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a hybrid Learning Support/Autistic Support classroom at an elementary school in Lancaster, PA. This contract position runs from December 1, 2025, through June 2, 2026, providing educational support to a K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver instruction and support tailored to students with learning and autistic support needs in a hybrid classroom setting

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning experiences

Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Maintain accurate records of student development and report to parents and administration as required
Qualifications And Experience

Must hold full Pennsylvania Special Education licensure (Instructional I or II). Candidates must possess this certification prior to the job start date; emergency or out-of-state certificates are not accepted.

Experience teaching special education students across multiple grade levels

Strong understanding of learning support and autistic support instructional strategies

Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively within a classroom environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation And Benefits

Hourly pay range of $35 to $53
