2nd Grade Teacher

A well-established non-public, elementary and middle school in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn, New York, is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Second Grade Lead Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.

Through inquiry, discussion, and exploration, students are encouraged to dig deeper, ask questions, and develop both a love of learning and an understanding of how knowledge shapes their world.

The Role

The Second Grade Lead Teacher will join a collaborative and mission-driven team committed to academic excellence and holistic child development. Lead Teachers work closely with their grade-level teams to deliver engaging, research-based, and standards-aligned lessons across all core subjects — including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.

Educational Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass all required background checks.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and innovative instructional methods.
• Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and learning outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience; starting range $70,000–$80,000.
