Custodian Full-Time 2nd Shift

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a full-time second shift Custodian, building assignment to be determined. Hours of work are approximately 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. This position is responsible for light property maintenance and grounds care, cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, lavatories, and the cafeteria; emptying trash and recycling containers; replacing supplies; using appropriate equipment and chemicals as needed; and other tasks as assigned by the custodial supervisor. Starting rate of pay is $17.47/hour - $31.49/hour depending on years of custodial experience and this is a benefit eligible position. Benefits include: Low deductible PPO medical insurance (2025-26 employee contributions are $64.25/month for single, $136.84/month for 2-person, and $186.31/month for family), prescription (no cost), dental (no cost), life insurance (no cost), vision insurance (no cost), PSERS retirement, 12 sick days, 15 vacation days, and 2 personal days (paid time off is prorated during the first year of employment based on start date).
