  • Hourly Pay between $20.00 - $25.00 an Hour + Overtime
  • 10 Hour Shifts/Monday - Thursday (3:00 PM to 1:30 AM)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities within our organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of maintenance and facilities management.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance function preventive, predictive, project & reactive
  • Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Support in conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematics and utilizes work orders to record required maintenance and service activity
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Assist in repairing and replacing defective parts on machinery, equipment, and building systems
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures while working with tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment maintenance logs
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Recommends new spare parts and procedures and participates in spare parts management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in the mechanical maintenance field servicing a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Must be well versed in troubleshooting/maintaining industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude in regard to conveyors, shredders, granulators, air handling, water treatment, and other industrial equipment is desired
  • Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting, and fabrication/welding is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure, and equipment manuals
  • May be required to have/obtain licenses to operate powered industrial trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or other types of equipment used to facilitate equipment repairs and accessibility
  • Strong mechanical aptitude as well as strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Must pass a Background Screen and Drug Test
