2nd Shift Production Manager

We’re looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Production Manager to lead production operations and drive performance on the second shift. In this role, you will champion safety, efficiency, and quality while motivating and developing a high-performing production team. The 2nd Shift Production Manager creates a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, while ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards to achieve strong, consistent results.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are consistently followed.

• Supervise and provide clear direction to production employees.

• Manage personnel matters related to production staff as needed.

• Oversee adherence to production schedules and ensure timely completion.

• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity.

• Ensure monthly training requirements are completed by all production staff.

• Inspect daily progress of employee assignments to maintain workflow efficiency.

• Promote safe, effective, and efficient job performance across the production team.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required production documentation.

• Oversee proper setup of production equipment as needed.

• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel.

• Confirm availability and proper preparation of materials for each order.

• Manage employee relations and conflict resolution as needed.

• Complete accident and injury reports and take appropriate follow-up actions.

• Manage trailer flow to receiving dock doors and ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.

• Prior supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Strong multi-tasking and independent work capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
