Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the individual needs of each student.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes early childhood learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative educational experience.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment conducive to learning.
- Provide individualized support for students, including those with special education needs.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Facilitate tutoring sessions as needed to reinforce learning objectives.
- Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience in preschool education or classroom management is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of curriculum development techniques and early childhood educational standards.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and exploration among young learners.
