3 Year Experience BIOMEDICAL Engineer for Karachi (male only)

1. Regular Duties/Responsibilities

· Responsible for repair and maintenance of medical equipment and particular responsibilities within the specialties of the appointee;

· Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections, commissions, and tests in accordance with the departmental procedures/work instructions and proper documentation of the maintenance records; Review outcome of preventive maintenance action and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.

· Technical Inspection of Medical Equipment / Spares / Consumables as per the maintenance procedure and department standard to ensure they meet the requirement.

· Carry out new Medical Equipment installation and commissioning, in accordance with the departmental procedures;

· Complete all new Medical Equipment Acceptance forms and report any missing items;

· Deliver training sessions to users and colleagues as per requirement and plan. Ensure that instructions and training programs are held as required, and the clinical support is of high professional standard.

· Monitor vendor during the warranty and post-warranty period as per the contract agreement and report the performance regularly to the Team Leader.

· Ensure proper safety standards for all medical equipment and appliances used at AKUH; Ensure that the overall activities meet the requirements of quality management and environmental policies and legal requirements.

· Provide timely feedback to TL/ATL on assigned and ongoing tasks

· Provide feedback and follow-ups on pending work orders to relevant users.

SALARY: Market Competitive
