3 Year Old Teacher

We are a nurturing, child-centered early learning program dedicated to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable 3-Year-Old Teacher to join our team and support the growing minds of our preschool learners.

Position Summary

The 3-Year-Old Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young preschoolers. This position focuses on promoting school-readiness skills, fostering independence, building social-emotional strengths, and supporting early literacy and language development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with developmental standards.
• Support children in building early academic skills, including pre-writing, counting, sorting, colors, and shapes.
• Promote social development through turn-taking, cooperative play, conflict resolution, and positive communication.
• Encourage independence in daily routines such as toileting, handwashing, cleaning up, and self-help skills.
• Maintain a consistent classroom schedule to provide structure and predictability.
• Observe and document developmental progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Implement center policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and administrators to support overall program goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with preschool-age children (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children.
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom-management skills.
• A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
