Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3 Year Old Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during a critical stage of childhood development. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the groundwork for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills tailored for 3-year-olds.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence through engaging activities and play-based learning.
  • Manage classroom routines effectively, including circle time, snack time, outdoor play, nap schedules, and transition activities.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior, address conflicts constructively, and promote social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child assessments, developmental progress, and standardized testing results as required by curriculum standards.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and safety protocols while maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; experience specifically with toddlers is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
