30hr/week Live In Nanny Needed

A sweet family in Mendon is seeking a fun-loving, experienced Live-In Nanny to care for their three children, ages 9, 7, and 5. This long-term role is ideal for a patient, flexible caregiver who enjoys supporting school-aged children while collaborating with mom and another nanny. The oldest child has autism, and the younger children have speech delays. Mom works from home in a separate office. A private living space will be provided, including a large bedroom and a bathroom for the nanny’s exclusive use.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• CPR / First Aid certified
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record - Family car will be available
• Comfortable with swimming and water supervision (family has a pool and the nanny is welcome to use it)
• Pet friendly (three small, hypoallergenic dogs in the home)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, patient, and nurturing care for all four children
• Assist with school pick-ups and transportation to after-school activities and therapy appointments
• Support after-school routines including snack and homework help
• Foster social, emotional, and overall developmental growth
• Collaborate with parents and therapy providers to support developmental goals
• Minimal household tasks (dishes and taking out the trash)
• Maintain a safe and structured environment, including pool safety and supervision as needed

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and confident in supporting children with varying developmental needs. They are organized and proactive. Experience with ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, special education, or related fields is a plus, but not required. They are a strong communicator who is excited to collaborate with Mom (who works from home) and another nanny at times, providing flexibility while maintaining consistency. The family is seeking someone warm, energetic, and engaging who can provide structure, encouragement, and support while fostering each child’s growth and independence. A live-in candidate who values clear boundaries, professionalism, and teamwork will be the best fit.

Position Details

• Schedule: 30 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–7 or 8:00 PM, with one hour on Saturday mornings
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate: $35 per hour
• Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, paid holidays

Pay: $35.00 per hour
