340B Pharmacy Specialist

Overview:
Join our team to manage and optimize the 340B Drug Discount Program. You’ll oversee daily operations, maintain auditing and compliance processes, resolve program issues, and collaborate with regional and system stakeholders to support all UPH covered entities. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the 340B program expert, managing day-to-day operations across in-house, contract, and mixed-use pharmacies
  • Analyze data from multiple systems to monitor compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies
  • Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders, system leadership, and the 340B team, communicating key metrics, opportunities, and issues
  • Lead audits, surveillance, and corrective action plans to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Maintain program documentation, implement policies and procedures, and provide training across the enterprise
  • Identify savings and revenue-generating opportunities while ensuring financial and billing accuracy
Qualifications:
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree, completion of 340B University course
  • Certifications: Pharmacy Technician licensure in IL, IA, or WI within 1 year (CPTIL, CPTIA, CPTWI-WIDSPS)
Experience:
  • 2 years as a hospital pharmacy technician (preferred)
  • Previous 340B program experience (preferred)
  • Experience in pharmacy purchasing or inventory management (preferred)
  • Data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, or similar) (preferred)
