3D Animator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Generalist to create high-end animations that showcase industrial products, processes, and conceptual designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial visualization, with a preference for experience in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop photorealistic 3D animations and visualizations for industrial products and concepts.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and marketing teams to translate technical information into compelling visuals.
• Optimize assets for real-time rendering and interactive experiences when required.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in representing complex industrial processes.
• Manage projects from concept to final delivery, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• 3ds Max and Unreal Engine proficiency (other 3D software packages acceptable).
• Strong knowledge of modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering workflows.
• Familiarity with industrial design principles and technical documentation.
• Experience with animation for oil and gas equipment, pipelines, or related infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to work with CAD data and convert it into optimized 3D assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in 3D animation or visualization.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating industrial or technical animations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of real-time visualization for VR/AR applications.
• Familiarity with simulation tools for fluid dynamics or mechanical processes.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
