Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic 3D animation professional to facilitate our 'Introduction to 3D Animation with Blender' summer program. This is a unique opportunity to inspire, mentor, and guide high school students as they explore the world of 3D animation. You'll guide students through the process of creating 3D models, rigging characters, animating movement, and rendering animations.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging lessons in 3D animation with Blender, including creating 3D models, rigging characters, and animating movement.
• Cultivate an inclusive, dynamic, and safe learning environment.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students refine their skills and work.
• Manage class time and materials effectively.
• Communicate with program coordinators about students' progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in 3D animation, preferably with Blender.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of 3D animation principles and techniques.
• Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young people.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
