3D Art Director.

About the Role:

At OMQ, the 3D Art Director is responsible for transforming creative vision and initial concepts into vibrant, immersive 3D visual and spatial experiences. This role involves designing and directing all spatial elements of the event—from the main stage, to visitor flow paths, to booths and interactive zones. The position leads and guides the 3D design team to produce realistic, high-quality models, ensuring they align with the project’s visual identity and real-world execution requirements, delivering an integrated and impressive

experience for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of 3D visual concepts for all events and transform them into executable designs.
• Define the artistic direction for projects and ensure visual and executional consistency across all event elements.
• Analyze event objectives and target audience requirements in coordination with strategy and content teams.
• Lead, guide, and monitor the 3D design team to ensure output quality.
• Maintain balance between creativity and functionality in all designs to achieve an integrated, practical visual experience.
• Ensure application of corporate visual identity and standardization across different event designs.
• Review and adjust interior and exterior designs to meet technical and on-site requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with safety regulations, real measurements, and execution conditions.
• Participate in selecting appropriate materials and finishes with the production team to ensure execution quality.
• Prepare detailed files and deliver high-quality renders for internal and external approvals
• Present visual presentations to clients and implementers to explain artistic direction and proposed designs.
• Coordinate with production teams and suppliers to clarify design details and ensure full understanding.
• Monitor on-site execution quality and ensure outcomes match the approved design.
• Provide technical feedback on prototypes and improve them before final execution.
• Develop a reference library of previous designs and standard models for future use.
• Stay updated on the latest 3D design trends and technologies, applying those that enhance OMQ’s creative identity.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or 3D Design.
• Preferably holds specialized courses or certifications in 3D Design or Art Direction.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in 3D design.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and delivering complex projects in the events sector.
• Ability to manage all design phases from concept to on-site execution.
• Practical knowledge of real-world execution requirements: materials, measurements, safety, and on-site production.
• Proficiency in specialized software such as: 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Strong technical and engineering skills, with a good understanding of display spaces and visitor flow.
• High proficiency in reading technical drawings, conducting technical calculations, and working with complex spaces.
• Language: Native-level Arabic, and very good English proficiency – especially in technical terminology.
