3D Cake Artist

Job Description

CAKE PALACE CAFE is looking for a highly skilled and creative 3D Cake Artist / Fondant Cake Maker / Fountain Cake Specialist to join our cake production team.

The ideal candidate must be capable of creating premium customized cakes, 3D sculpted cakes, fondant cakes, wedding cakes, birthday theme cakes, character cakes, luxury celebration cakes, and fountain cake designs with professional finishing.

This position is suitable only for a chef/cake artist who has strong hands-on experience in cake designing, sculpting, fondant work, cake structure, finishing, and customer-based custom cake execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create customized 3D cakes based on customer requirements.
• Prepare fondant cakes, sculpted cakes, character cakes, theme cakes, wedding cakes, and luxury celebration cakes.
• Create strong internal cake structures for tall cakes, tier cakes, fountain cakes, and heavy designs.
• Work with fondant, gum paste, modeling chocolate, buttercream, whipped cream, edible colors, airbrush, molds, cutters, and professional cake tools.
• Replicate customer reference designs with accurate finishing and detailing.
• Make handmade toppers, flowers, figurines, and decorative elements.
• Ensure every cake has premium finishing, proper shape, clean edges, and professional presentation.
• Coordinate with the sales and production team to complete orders on time.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and proper food safety standards in the workstation.
• Support the team during high-volume orders, seasonal campaigns, and special events.
• Help improve new cake designs, trending cake styles, and premium product presentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D cake making, fondant cake decoration, or custom cake production.
• Strong experience in 3D cakes, fondant work, sculpting, and luxury customized cakes.
• Experience in fountain cakes, wedding cakes, and tier cake structure is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work independently without continuous supervision.
• Should have excellent attention to detail and clean finishing.
• Must be creative and updated with modern cake trends.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete urgent/custom orders on time.
• Basic baking knowledge is an advantage.
• Candidate must be able to show previous cake work/portfolio/photos/videos.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary package: AED 3,000 to AED 3,300 per month
