3D Character Artist

Strong ability to create high-quality hard surface and organic character models

Proficiency in Maya (or similar 3D tools) for modeling, texturing, and shading

A sharp eye for lighting, color, composition, and detail

Experience working within memory and performance constraints without compromising visual quality

Prior game production experience (shipped projects are a big plus)

Self-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate closely within a team

Solid planning, prioritization, and time management skills

Model, texture, shade, and rig characters and assets for in-game use

Create UV maps and occlusion maps

Prototype, iterate, and refine character models based on feedback

Optimize and clean up geometry for performance

Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and technical constraints

Work closely with the Art and Tech teams to uplift the visual quality of Hitwicket and all upcoming gaming titles at Metasports

Collaborate with artists, animators, and programmers to deliver high-quality assets on time

Ensure final outputs meet visual, technical, and performance expectations
