Job Description

We are looking for a skilled 3D CNC Programmer to join our custom themed prop fabrication shop. This position involves programming, setting up, and operating a FrogMill CNC machine for custom foam fabrication. The ideal candidate has experience with CAD/CAM software, understands CNC machining processes, and can work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate FrogMill CNC machinery
• Create and edit CNC toolpaths from CAD drawings and 3D models
• Set up materials, tooling, and machine fixtures
• Monitor machine performance and ensure quality production
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
• Maintain organized project and machine files
• Work with the fabrication team to complete custom projects on schedule
• Follow shop safety procedures and keep work areas clean

Qualifications

• CNC programming and machine operation experience
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read shop drawings and 3D models
• Understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and material setup
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in custom fabrication themed prop shop preferred
• 3D Printing Experience is an asset
