3D Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 3D Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D models and visualizations for architectural, civil, or mechanical projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD and drafting software, with a focus on delivering innovative design solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements. The 3D Designer will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and functionality in all design outputs.

Duties

• Create detailed 3D models and visualizations using software such as SketchUp, Revit, NavisWorks, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Develop accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation for construction or manufacturing projects.
• Assist in the design of civil or mechanical systems utilizing Civil 3D and AutoCAD tools.
• Prepare construction-ready plans, sections, and elevations that adhere to industry standards.
• Incorporate 2D animation techniques to enhance project presentations when applicable.
• Collaborate with team members to review designs, troubleshoot issues, and refine models based on feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation of all design work for easy access and revision control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
• Strong background in civil or mechanical design and drafting processes.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of construction practices and industry standards is preferred.
• Proficiency in 2D animation for technical presentations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
