Position Details:

  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during Inclusion Pathways’ operational hours. Work hours may include Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Work Location: Onsite at Build and Brew Café, 62 White St., Red Bank, NJ
  • Reporting To: CEO and COO

Job Responsibilities:

The 3D Designer and Instructor role combines technical design responsibilities with educational duties. This position requires an individual to both create high-quality 3D products and effectively teach others how to develop these skills.

Teaching & Education

Teach 3D Printing and Product Development Classes

Prepare lesson plans and review the technical feasibility of the Technology Instructors lesson plans.

Assist in running private Tech workshops, birthday parties, and other events.

Develop the curricula for technology classes and workshops.

Working closely with students to develop designs and working prototypes for new products that will be sold at our retail store. This will include but is not limited to 3D printed kits, 3D printed artwork and Laser Engraved Gifts

Maintain and repair equipment and software related to classes, the makers space and product manufacturing

Inventory Management

Maintain inventory and identify the equipment and supplies for continuous operation of the makerspace and manufacturing facility. Ordering supplies and equipment will follow the new approval process that will be developed.

Documentation & Business Continuity

Prepare various types of documentation, including, but not limited to:

  • User guides to be included with every product sold;
  • Standard operating procedures for running and maintaining equipment in the makers space
  • Class and workshop materials.

Note: Prioritization of these tasks will be determined in cooperation with other company managers and based on business needs and urgency.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
