The Role

This role creates high-quality 3D visualizations and multimedia presentations to support sales proposals, including photorealistic renderings, animations, fly-throughs, and virtual tours. Develops custom site plans and graphics by combining 3D assets with photographed environments, ensuring realistic and engaging presentations. Manages an efficient 3D visualization workflow through automation and real-time rendering tools, while collaborating closely with sales representatives and internal teams to deliver accurate, visually compelling solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

Prepares 3D Presentations for Sales Proposals by

• Using 3D rendering, animation and graphic design software
• Creating 3D Renderings of Inventor files with 3D Studio Max
• Creating custom 3D site plans for sales visuals
• Superimposing 3D graphics onto photographed backgrounds
• Creating custom graphics using Adobe Illustrator
• Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for post render corrections and custom presentations
• Creating 3D fly-through presentations using 3D Studio Max and video editing software
• Using third-party software to create virtual tours of playground designs

Manages a 3D visualization workflow by

• Using MaxScript to automate repetitive tasks
• Assisting in creating backgrounds and 3D children models to display playgrounds in life-like settings as needed
• Using real-time render software to create dynamic and life-like presentations

Communicates Directly with Sales Representatives by

• Being articulate & friendly
• Using proper phone etiquette, e-mail communication and internal systems to resolve issues and answer questions that arise in regards to the Reps specifications and requests

Contributes to Team Effort by

• Collaborating with the team on projects
• Identifying ways to increase efficiency in the department
• Performing as a backup for Lead 3D Designer/Illustrator as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications That Move Us!

• Minimum of Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in a related field; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have a portfolio to showcase relevant work experience
• Must have knowledge of 3D Studio Max or similar (3D Design Software), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
• Understand artistic concepts such as layout, composition, lighting/shading, and color theory
• Basic video editing and minor MaxScript programming knowledge is a plus
• Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and group situations with managers, customers, other employees and the general public
• Organized, detail oriented, team player, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time-Management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities is a must
