AniLina Canvas is a growing CGI, VFX, and Unreal Engine–based creative studio delivering high-quality 3D cinematic content for international clients. Our work includes character animation, creature-based sequences, short-format storytelling, and UE5 cinematic production. We maintain strict production standards and expect the same level of discipline and professionalism from all team members.

Do not apply if you are:

  • A fresher
  • Not from a 3D industry background
  • Dependent on Mixamo or premade animation packs
  • Not professionally experienced in Unreal Engine 5 and Blender

Role Overview

You will be responsible for producing custom 3D character and creature animations, assembling scenes, building environments, and handling advanced Unreal Engine workflows for cinematic short-form content. This is an execution-heavy role and requires artists who already have a complete working pipeline.

Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)1. Custom Character & Creature Animation

  • Ability to animate entirely from scratch
  • Strong body mechanics, timing, weight, arcs, facial basics
  • No Mixamo or premade cycles
  • Must understand how to animate for cinematic story beats

2. Unreal Engine 5.6 Workflow

Must be proficient in:

  • UE5 Mannequin and Metahuman animation
  • Custom skeleton animation
  • Sequencer, level sequence, keyframing
  • Camera animation, DOF, lighting
  • Retargeting, blendspaces, take recorder
  • You must clearly state which software you use for creating animations for UE5.Knowledge of Cascadeur is preferred, as our pipeline uses it.

3. Blender Expertise

You must be highly competent in:

  • Character modeling and sculpting
  • Retopology, UVs, texturing
  • Rigging and weight painting
  • Character and creature animation
  • Lighting and rendering
  • Basic to intermediate compositing

If Blender is not your strongest tool, do not apply.

4. FX and Simulation

Ability to create:

  • Basic to intermediate explosions
  • Smoke, fire, dust, debris
  • Water splashes and simple fluid effects
  • Light destruction simulations
  • Blender FX or Geometry Nodes knowledge is sufficient.

5. Character Creation & Rig Handling

Must be able to:

  • Build stylized or semi-realistic characters
  • Modify provided character meshes
  • Fix or rebuild rigs
  • Prepare characters for UE5 skeleton compatibility

6. Environment Creation

Must be able to:

  • Build scenes using kitbash assets
  • Create simple props when required
  • Work efficiently with UE5 lighting, fog, atmosphere
  • Assemble scenes for cinematic storytelling

7. Metahuman Pipeline

Required knowledge:

  • Custom clothing modeling and integration
  • Editing Metahuman meshes
  • Preparing Metahuman 5.6 characters for animation
  • Basic facial animation workflows

Applicants with no Metahuman experience will not be considered.

Soft Skills

  • Strong understanding of lighting and composition
  • Consistent daily availability
  • Clean file organization
  • Ability to follow references and direction accurately
  • Reliability under deadlines
  • Clear and honest communication

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
