Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printing Machine & Scanner Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers and 3D scanners to produce high-quality prototypes, models, and parts. This role requires strong technical knowledge of 3D printing technologies, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor 3D printing machines (FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF or other relevant technologies).
• Prepare digital 3D models for printing, including file conversion, slicing, and printer calibration.
• Operate 3D scanners to capture precise measurements and create accurate 3D digital models.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of 3D printers and scanners.
• Inspect printed parts for quality, accuracy, and surface finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve printing and scanning issues promptly.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize printing processes and materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of print jobs, materials used, and machine performance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in 3D printing or CAD is preferred.
• Proven experience operating 3D printers and 3D scanners.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino) and slicing software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of 3D printing materials and processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
