3rd Grade Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced (2 or more years), passionate, and dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love for education. Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote active learning and student participation.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Utilize STEM strategies to enhance instructional delivery and support diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support students' academic and social development.
  • Incorporate special education strategies and accommodations for students with diverse needs, including those with autism or in early intervention programs.
  • Mentor new teachers and provide guidance on best practices in early childhood education, behavior management, and literacy education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification for elementary education is required.
  • Proven classroom experience working with children in grades 3–4, preferably in inner city schools
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and lesson planning techniques.
  • Proficiency in working with learning technology platforms and library services to support literacy and research skills.
  • Experience with classroom management, behavior management strategies, and working with students with special needs or in early intervention programs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $55,678.28 per year
