Position Summary

Performs HACCP related duties pertaining to Operational Prerequisite Programs and CCP points. Packages, stores and ships final production materials in a sanitary manner according to FDA regulations and quality programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading 110lb product bags with motorized lift
  • Manually packages, seals and stacks final production material.
  • Completing all paperwork pertaining to the quality and HACCP program.
  • Completing hourly and weekly checks on in-process and finished product material.
  • Setting up and maintains packaging area equipment.
  • Clean and sanitizing the packaging and warehouse areas.
  • Completing quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Participant in food safety team.
  • Assisting the production personnel in cleaning and maintaining plant sanitation.
  • All others duties as specified by the plant manager.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Self-starter; Ability to work independently or with minimal direction, and navigate ambiguous situations effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs throughout a shift.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening

Pay: $15.50 per hour
