3rd Shift Diesel Tractor/Trailer Mechanic

Journey Trucking is an 100% employee owned, full-service trucking provider located in Vandalia, Ohio, is looking for a full-time, diesel tractor trailer mechanic to work on site, third shift from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

We have an immediate need for a diesel mechanic who is proficient in all facets of fleet maintenance & repairs. We are looking for someone with experience and able to diagnose and repair tractors/trailers, dump trucks, tankers, and vacs.

Responsibilities and duties include performing preventive maintenance and tire services; diagnosing/troubleshooting repairs, such as brakes, clutches, transmission work, electrical systems, sensors, and pumps; and completing all repairs and paperwork in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be included in an on-call rotation, and potentially working in the elements may be needed.

Applicant must have own tools, clean driving record with valid driver license, and be willing to continuously improve skills by taking additional training and ASE exams.
