3rd Shift Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

Roper's Wrecker Service is currently hiring a 3rd Shift Dispatcher to join our overnight operations team. This role is essential in coordinating tow truck dispatch, managing customer calls, and ensuring efficient service during late-night hours. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and can stay calm under pressure- we want to hear from you!

Full time position, hours may vary and may change. So please be flexible if applying for this position. Position is paid 18.00 hourly.

We have the following opening: 3rd Shift Hours (Night Shift) includes following shifts- 8PM-6AM and 10PM-8AM. Position is (4) 10-hour shifts per week, with (3) days off each week, and every other weekend off. This is an in-person position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Answer all incoming calls by 3rd ring
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Route and Dispatch drivers to calls
• Ability to prioritize calls/ drivers
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers
• Releasing vehicles and property to appropriate person
• Maintain clean office environment

Skills/ Qualifications

• Computer experience; Keyboarding at 45 wpm
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Strong customer service skills
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Exhibits strong work ethic (punctuality and dependability)
• Ability to work independently and as well as a team player
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• Must pass background check
• Must pass drug test,both pre-employment & random. Zero tolerance of drug-use
• Business/Office professional conduct

Training period is 4 weeks and training hours are 6AM-2PM. Please be advised training is done between 6AM-2PM, these are not the hours of the position we are hiring for.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
