3rd Shift Equipment Operator/ Laborer

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a 3rd Shift(9pm-5am) Equipment Operator and Laborer, where your skills will drive the success of building a stockpile to support a 24/7 coal fired power plant. This shift is vital to us having a strong inventory to support the power plants needs year round.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders,
• Load and screen raw tonnage to make a finished product for the plant
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to guarantee safe and optimal operation.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment during overnight operations.
• Document equipment usage and shift activities accurately for reporting purposes.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders
• Mine site experience with familiarity in screening raw feedstock
• Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery confidently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and mine sites.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues with heavy machinery and stationary screening decks

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
