3rd Shift Quality Inspector

Job Purpose:

To perform 1st piece and daily inspections on all machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform dimensional inspection on all production parts

· Document all inspections performed

· Perform 1st piece inspections and document

· Set up the necessary gaging for any given job and replace gages when the job is completed

· Maintain a clean work area and safe work environment

· Follow all company policies and procedures

· Complete all other tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Knowledge of blueprint reading

· Skill to read & write English

· Skill to perform basic math skills

· Skill to use all types of variable measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

· Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little supervision

· Ability to effectively communicate problems to supervisor

Credentials & Experience:

· Must have prior experience and be comfortable working 3rd shift

· Experience in a manufacturing/assembly facility

Must pass a math test and show a basic understanding of tolerances, micrometers, calipers, blueprint reading

Job Type: Full-time
