3Ton - Light Vehicle Driver

Responsibilities:

• Possess thorough professional knowledge of the vehicle’s capabilities and comply with all driving laws of the country of operation.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the local area, including the most efficient routes between destinations, ensuring you are never lost and always punctual.
• Be aware of local driving customs and unwritten traffic norms to proactively identify and avoid potential risks, ensuring the safety of passengers, yourself, and the vehicle.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of the vehicle, keeping it in optimal condition at all times, and ensure it is fully prepared before each service.
• Support Human Resources and other departments with deliveries, pickups, and various tasks as needed.

Key Duties:

• Adhere strictly to all safety policies and driving regulations.
• Demonstrate safe driving practices and avoid traffic violations.
• Follow maps, routes, and instructions with accuracy.
• Use company and customer vehicles responsibly.
• Conduct daily checks on all fleet vehicles to ensure they are clean and fully charged.
• Provide operational support to the logistics team.

Essential Skills:

• Stock handling and organization.
• Proven driving experience within the UAE.
• Strong time-management abilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Qualifications:

• High school education.
• Valid UAE manual light-vehicle driving license.
• Solid understanding of UAE roads, traffic laws, and regulations.
• At least two years of experience as a driver, preferably in a large transportation facility.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
