Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC 4-Axis Milling Operator with in-depth knowledge of Fanuc control systems to operate, set up, and maintain 4-axis CNC milling machines. The role involves producing precision metal components by interpreting engineering drawings, optimizing machine efficiency, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation

Set up and operate 4-axis CNC milling machines equipped with Fanuc controllers.

Load raw materials and tools; verify alignment and positioning.

Edit and adjust existing Fanuc G-code programs as required.

Precision Machining

Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, CAD models, and job orders.

Ensure tight tolerances and surface finish as per customer specifications.

Perform part inspections using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).

Programming & Troubleshooting

Modify minor G-code programs directly on the Fanuc interface when needed.

Identify and correct tooling/machining issues during operation.

Ensure optimal cutting speeds, feed rates, and tool paths for efficiency.

Quality Assurance

Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Maintain documentation of production runs, inspection reports, and tool usage.

Follow ISO 9001 / AS9100 or other applicable quality standards.

Maintenance & Safety

Perform basic maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, tool change).

Report mechanical or control faults to maintenance promptly.

Adhere strictly to workplace safety and machine operation guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating CNC milling machines (4-axis minimum).

Hands-on experience with Fanuc control units (G-code/M-code).

Strong knowledge of machining principles, materials (e.g., aluminum, steel), and tools.

Ability to read engineering drawings and perform part inspections.

Preferred:

Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).

Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, or mold-making industries.
