Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic 4th Grade Teacher to inspire and educate young learners in a dynamic classroom environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster academic growth, social-emotional development, and a love for learning among students. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, dedication, and a strong understanding of childhood development to help students reach their full potential. As a vital member of our educational team, you will implement engaging lesson plans, support diverse learning needs, and cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.

Duties

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education
  • Incorporate innovative learning technologies and teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding
  • Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and create an inclusive environment for all students, including those with special needs or autism
  • Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing preparations
  • Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who need extra help in literacy education, math, or early intervention programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and extracurricular activities such as library services or physical education classes
  • Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants, sharing best practices in classroom management and instructional techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred
  • Valid state teaching license for elementary education with specialization in early childhood education or equivalent credentials
  • Proven classroom experience working with children in grades 3–5, demonstrating strong classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience working with diverse learners including those with special education needs or working with individuals with autism
  • Proficiency in learning technology tools and educational software to support interactive lessons
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and preparing students for standardized testing

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
