5+ year Experience Open/Close shift Bartender/Server

Sugar Bush Bar & Grill Sports Bar is seeking an experienced Server/Bartender who can confidently handle both serving tables and bartending in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, be dependable, and be capable of handling both opening and closing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Serve food and drinks to tables and bar guests
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area
• Handle POS transactions, cash, and credit card payments accurately
• Check IDs and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
• Perform opening duties, including setting up the bar, stocking supplies, and preparing the floor for service
• Perform closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and closing out registers
• Assist with inventory and notify management of low stock
• Work efficiently during high-volume service hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in bartending and/or serving
• Ability to work both bar and floor service when needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift bar supplies

Preferred:

• Experience in sports bars, lounges, or nightlife venues
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Ability to multitask between bartending and serving

Pay: $3.25 - $8.00 per hour
