Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth in 4-year-olds.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence among preschool children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a positive behavior management approach.
- Support early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays, collaborating with specialists as needed.
- Conduct assessments to monitor childhood development progress and prepare reports for parents and guardians.
- Facilitate engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, standardized testing preparation, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster open communication with families about their child's progress, behavior, and welfare to build strong partnerships.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, literacy education, and classroom management techniques.
- Proven experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions.
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support all learners.
- Classroom experience in daycare or private school environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in lesson planning for subjects such as math, physical education, and childcare fundamentals using Montessori or similar educational frameworks.
