The 5th & 6th Grade Science Teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program to guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their full academic potential while facilitating students' understanding and application of scientific concepts. The teacher will deliver lessons that develop students' theoretical and applied scientific skills.**
Job Qualifications

**Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Education is required**

**Active PA certification in 4 - 8 math or science or elementary K - 6 certification is required.**

**Extensive knowledge of the Pennsylvania State Standards and Common Core**

**Experience in teaching a non-basal curriculum**

**3 years teaching experience preferred**
