Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Dual Language Teacher to inspire and educate students in a vibrant, bilingual learning environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in both languages, emphasizing literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learners.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students actively in their learning process.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and personalized tutoring sessions.
- Support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lessons and utilizing inclusive teaching techniques.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, behavioral concerns, and classroom activities to foster a strong home-school connection.
- Participate in school-wide activities and professional development workshops to continually improve teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid teaching certification or active enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms efficiently while fostering an inclusive environment conducive to learning.
