Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Dual Language Teacher to inspire and educate students in a vibrant, bilingual learning environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in both languages, emphasizing literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learners.
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students actively in their learning process.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and personalized tutoring sessions.
• Support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lessons and utilizing inclusive teaching techniques.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, behavioral concerns, and classroom activities to foster a strong home-school connection.
• Participate in school-wide activities and professional development workshops to continually improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid teaching certification or active enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms efficiently while fostering an inclusive environment conducive to learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth through mentoring opportunities, tutoring initiatives, or participation in education administration activities.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
