Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to enhance literacy, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills among 5th-grade students.
- Develop engaging instructional materials that incorporate learning technology and differentiated strategies to meet diverse student needs, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorders.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations, and adjust instruction accordingly to ensure academic growth.
- Provide targeted tutoring and extra support to students who need additional help in literacy or math, fostering confidence and independent learning skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, creating an environment conducive to learning and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives, integrating early childhood education principles and Montessori methods where applicable.
- Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants by sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and childhood development strategies.

- Proven experience in classroom management combined with strong communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Expertise in curriculum development for literacy education, math integration, and early intervention strategies tailored for elementary learners.
- Proficiency in working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or behavioral support.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools used for instruction, assessment, and student engagement.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to proofread and craft clear instructional materials and feedback.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to prepare students for assessments confidently.
