Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to ensure students gain full understanding and mastery of course topics.
• Teach supplemental word problems and challenge questions beyond standard school curricula.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes academic achievement.
• Utilize effective classroom management to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Mentor and guide students in both academic development and personal growth.
• Stay informed on the latest educational practices, learning technologies, and pedagogical innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven teaching experience at the primary or secondary school level.
• Strong proficiency in Algebra 1 instruction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and effective classroom discipline.
• Experience integrating educational technology to enhance teaching and student engagement.

Schedule: 3:00–6:00 PM or 4:00–6:00 PM (based on teacher availability)

• 5th Grade English Teacher - Monday and Wednesday
• Elementary Grade ESL Teacher - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• 9th Grade English Teacher - Monday and Wednesday
• Algebra 1 Teacher - Tuesday and Thursday
• Pre-Algebra Teacher Tuesday and Thursday

Temple City Campus

• 5th Grade English Teacher - Tuesday and Thursday

Rowland Heights Campus

• Middle School English Teacher - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• AP Calculus Workshop Teacher - Tuesday and Thursday
• AP Science Workshop — Monday and Tuesday
• Geometry Teacher - Tuesday and Thursday
