5th Grade Teacher

The 5th Grade Teacher will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing engaging instruction aligned to state standards. This role requires a strong focus on building student understanding of foundational math concepts, problem-solving skills, and academic confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver daily math lessons that are clear, engaging, and aligned to curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students who need additional support or enrichment.
• Use data to monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and support academic growth.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and perseverance.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom learning.
• Collaborate with grade-level team members and school staff to align instruction and support student success.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required).
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement (Elementary Education or Middle Grades Math).
• Strong knowledge of math content and best practices in math instruction.
• Commitment to building relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $58,652.00 per year
