Key Responsibilities

  • Ward Duties: Participate in ward rounds, update patient status, and ensure all medical instructions/treatment plans are executed strictly.
  • Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to hospital safety protocols, hygiene, and infection control practices at all times.

2. Data Management, Documentation & Reporting

  • Digital Records: input and manage patient data, prescriptions, and treatment details in the hospital system.
  • Discharge Summaries: Prepare detailed discharge summaries and follow-up instructions under consultant supervision.
  • Clinical Notes: Write and maintain accurate patient case sheets and clinical notes daily.
  • Data Presentation: Retrieve requested clinical data from the system and present it efficiently to Consultants as needed for decision-making.

3. Coordination, Billing & Administration

  • Billing Verification: Cross-verify admission and discharge bills to ensure that all charges (procedures, investigations, services) are accurate before final billing.
  • MRD Liaison: Coordinate with the Medical Records Department to ensure the long-term accuracy and integrity of patient data.
  • Inter-Departmental Workflow: Coordinate with Nursing, Laboratory, and Radiology departments to ensure timely execution of consultant orders and retrieval of reports.
